squeaky clutch

Does anyone else clutch squeaks?? mine does and it getting real irritating...sound like im driving a real old beater.

Yeah, it was awful. I used some teflon grease to shut it up. You'll teflon or axle grease on it. Spray won't cut it here. Hasn't made a peep since I did it.

Brave man w/ that S4. I was one of the first 2000 S4 owners. Ditched it after the snails were replaced under warranty.

hasnt made a peep huh...lmao...yeah i use some silicon spray and nada...but ill give that grease a try thx for the quick reply. Yeah man i love my S4 the only thing i hate about it is that is a tip. In my model the k03 was a tad better than the earlier onesm but I was gonna upgrade to stage 3 but I fell in love with the b8 S4. So im saving and gonna sell my current s4 to get the 2010/2011

Use some heavy duty grease Solved it and the squeak hasn't been back in nearly 10k miles.

Just turn the music up. It'll help drown out any rattles that your car might have as well

talking about the clutch pedal right? mine squeaks sometimes, along with an annoying squeak from the back seat

I can feel the squeak through the clutch so even if the music up ill still know....its irritating as hell...when the stealership fix my steering column rattle they created another one so its going back...smh..if it aint one thing its another

I had to have my clutch master cylinder replaced to solve the problem. Greasing didn't help.

I need to grease it again, it seems to slowly come back once a year.

I had 2 master cylinders replaced and a brand new clutch pedal and as i was leaving fro mgetting the new pedal assembly installed it started squeaking again. the dealership sprayed it and said they would contact me after they heard from the manufacture about if there was anything else they could do to fix it. that was almost 2 weeks ago and still no word.

hmmm I'm at 12k miles an it was really buggin me tonight.. Where do yall grease at?? I might do this tomorrow

so you have to pull the transmission and flywheel to grease it then right?

I ended up jus sprayin some WD40 up past the pedal an it never squeaked again
