Hey guys so GM did a great job in the stage 1....now are they going to make a stage 2 and if so what will that have in it?

 

I believe a new intake, possibly another tune? I don't think there's really been any word on it yet, unless someone more informed than myself wants to pipe in...

 

That's all i have read. Intake.. no word on a tune, but i don't see how an intake alone will make up the difference.

 

I doubt Stage 2 will be anything short of a turbo upgrade, if they ever make it.

 

It think you summed it up right there....... I really doubt we see a stage 2 upgrade anytime soon with the way things are going at GM. Between emmission's and the Cobalt getting axed, I'm guessing we should be happy they got stage one out the door .

 

Yah I think Id agree with this too. But who knows, maybe GMPD won't forget about us even though the Cobalt line is soon to be dead.

 

stage 2 will be intake if it is released correct. Theres no tune really needed now that stage 1's tune has taken off the learn down feature.

 

When you flash the new calibration it says "for use with stage 1 and stage 2 kits"

 

That "for stage 1 and stage 2" could be a carry over from the LSJ file download. GM has reused things before

And I'm not saying the the tunes are the same form the LNF and LSJ... I'm meaning that the screen/printout could be just saying that

 

the solstice and sky had stage 2 kits.

 

what did they include? intake only?

 

I cant figure out which is which but the solistce/sky have a intake and exhaust system. so stage 2 I think is their sensors/tune and stage 1 is intake/exhuast? something along those lines.
