Total # of LNF Cobalt SS's Produced?

Since I have bought my 08 Cobalt SS about 4 months ago, I have not seen a single LNF SS on the road. So either our cars are quite rare or nobody is buying. How many SS's were built in the first place?

Wow. I see at least 3 G5 GT-SS/NA a day, and I am hardly on the road. Yet to see a local TC though and I'm aware of only a handful of SC's in town.

But i see base cobalts and g5/gts and bases everywhere. Their good cars and perfect on gas.

There was no ss/na in 2005 though.

My cousin looked up the number of 08 tc's made since he has an 08'. He said there was 4000 made.

good point.... I utimately was not the one to get the info from GM (there was like 6 of us pestering the them). I never noticed that, as all I was concerned w/ was the SC production #? .....

I would be very suprised if it was 4000 TC's in 2008... They only built them for about 4 months... (~March - ~June) Ours has a March build date...

This is kind of off topic, but does it say on the vin what number the car was on the production line?

Those numbers are probably completely bogus. Unless someone can explain where 10,000 mystery 2.4's built in 2005 went.

That's what I thought.
