Treadstone TR10 - Need Help!

hey guys,

first off i wanna say id like to keep this thread clean, its not an opinion thread on if treastone makes good quality parts or not , im seeking install advice. thank you.

so i recently decided to upgrade my intercooler. went with treadstone TR10. origionally i was only gonna go with a TR8, but i was offered a free upgrade to a TR10 as the TR8's were back orderd or somthing thing like that.. so i figured why not right?

now im measuring it out and find out that this thing is massive compaired to stock & the amount of room i have up front in this car. anyone running a TR10 on here? if so,offer up some advise for installing it. am i gonna loose my re-enforcement bar? or did u guys just cut into it?

really hoping someone out here can answer thes questions asap!

thank you in advance.

You will get rubbing here:

Here:

........................and here:

When you put the tabs in between the crashbar and the rad support, you end up having to basically SQUASH the tabs between the two. Treadstone has said you don't have to mount it that way: that you can mount it with the tabs behind the rad support, but I have yet to see it done that way.

This IC definitely doesn't fit properly, but it does fit with rubbing.

The major problem I had was that the mounting tabs HAD to be bent in order for it to fit properly. I could have left them unbent but then the crash bar would not have been flush to the car like it should be. Very tight squeez but it will fit.

Same here.

I made a How to install a TR8 and I had to bend the tabs just a bit to make the crashbar bolt on flush. No biggie. Search for my How To on here for tips... I left plenty.
