Tuned w. bolt-ons, new tune for new downpipe?

Hey guys whats going on, so I've been doing my research on here and haven't found the best answer yet.
I have a 2010 TC with a bunch of bolt-ons and a GMS1. Car was tuned (hp/trifecta) AFTER everything was installed and now i want to put on a CATTED ZZP 200 CELL dowpipe. If I install this new downpipe, does the car need to be re-tuned?? Or can I get away with simply installing the downpipe? I'm aware that it might through a code with the new downpipe, but I figure overtime getting the code cleared, the car will learn.

Any help or idea with this??
Thanks!!

The car will not learn if it keeps throwing a code no matter how many times you clear it

You can change the downpipe without a tune and might or might not throw a code but it wont hurt the engine. If you bought one with the angled o2 bung you should be fine. Now to take advantage of the extra flow from the high flow cat you will need a tune or you wont gain any power.

Yea the DP I bought had the Angeled 02 bung, I made sure I got that cause I didn't want to run into problems and headaches after the install. I'm already happy with the tune I have (peak 25psi sits at 20, 320hp and 350tq) but I'll get in contact with a local tuner and see what they can do. No use in installing the DP if I'm not going to take advantage of it😜

How do you not know how you were tuned? You can install it and it won't hurt anything though. Tune would be good to take use of it.
