OK so i understand that timers are not need because of it being oil and liquid cooled but i still would like to get one.

But I have read and heard that the security system does not allow the cobalt to stay running for longer then a minute after you take the key out.

And also i have heard that while the car is running on the timer, you are not able to lock the doors and the radio stays on.

Is there any brand of timer that will allow the car to stay running longer and allow me to lock the doors with it running?

they will run if you hook them right. the only issue is you still need to open the door to kill the audio. i hasent found a way around it yet.
