I would have a hard time thinking that TC'd Cobalts would have a turbo that isn't oil cooled and water cooled but I could be wrong. If they are cooled then a turbo timer isnt really needed. Just dont beat the living heck out of it then shut it off.

Werd. If I go to park and was in boost within the last two minutes of driving, I'll sit there for a minute before shutting the car off. Otherwise, I don't really think twice about it.

thats what i always thought....a turbo timer just helps the long-jevity (spelling) because after you shut the car off the oil keeps heating up inside the turbo and it basically cooks itself. I was just wondering if anyone has put one in their Cobalt T/C yet

If you can count to 100-120 (about 2 min) after you have parked with the car runing, that's all you need to do to let it cool down..No stupid timer needed. Same for start-up, let the car warm up (to about 160* coolant temp) before you drive or get on it at all. No boost controller needed unless you're making lots more power
