Vince still at trifecta?

Getting Trifecta tuned in the next week and was wondering does Vince still write the tunes? I've been reading in some other posts that Vince is no longer with Trifecta or he is not as active with Trifecta. Anyone know? I've heard the name Steven Weller come up as well.

Yeah steven has worked with me and my budget tunes, Vince should still be active but I haven't looked at his profile.

Has Steven been doing a good job? I've head a lot of people recommend Vince. Is it just Steven and Vince writing the tunes or is their more people?

I suggest finding another route for "custom" tuning.

I don't know how he does as far as custom datalogged tunes but I just have the budget tune right now.

Is Trifecta not what it used to be? I used to hear such good things about Trifecta? Are the tunes unreliable? Or does everyone get mad that it can take a while for tunes between data logging?

I wonder if I can request Vince.

Stephens tuning sucks. I don't know how he is even aloud to touch tuning software. Stay away from trifecta if u can, if u have no choice and u get Stephen as a tuner, stay stock.

Yes he attempted to tune my Zfr. Ask termenator2 what a mess that was

I have to add , I was having some issues with injector seal, but I got that fixed when I got Opel injector upgrade. After that, my car ran so rich, and stumbled all the time, even with supposed tune compensation for the bigger injectors. After almost a month of tuning it was still seeing like -17 a -24 ltft. I said screw this and bought hpt, sent term2 a log and my stock file and list of mods, one file, one, and my car ran 95% better and the tune was dialed in 95 % better than after a month with The trifecta tuner. That should tell u enough. I know Vince would have done a better job if he would have been tuning me, but even then, the only one who actually seems like he gives a crap about u and ur car is the middle Man U deal with there and talk to about the tune and stuff. He doesn't tune he an office guy it seems.

Ugh. I'm worried now. I'm supposed to get Trifecta tuned next Friday. I haven't bought the software yet. I'm going through a Trifecta vendor. I have to call him next week to give him the okay to order the tune. This guy has his own dyno and sets up a Skype appointment online while I'm there with Trifecta. From there he will dyno my car and flash the tune while Trifecta writes the tune all right there in the same day (communicating through Skype). The vendor did mention something about Vince not being as involved as he used to be. Maybe when I call the vendor and ask if Vince is available for writing the tune for my car. I'm just doing a few bolt ons and a tune. I just want it done right

I thought terminator doesn't do it anymore? The vendor I'm going to can either flash HP or Trifecta onto my car. I think if I went the HP route with him though he has his own guy he knows who does the HP tuning.

Man now I don't know what to do. Trifecta doesn't even have a phone number for me to call to see if Vince still there. I'm in the Cleveland Ohio area. Do you know if anyone can help me? I don't care if I I get HP tuner or Trifecta like I said I just want someone who knows what they are doing

I'm in the Strongsville area. It seems like a lot of the people who used to do a lot of the tuning don't do it anymore at least from what I've read. Do you know anyone that can do a good job?

Pretty sure thats what he means. Also Term does still tune, he stopped for a bit, then a few of our local club members bought him a cable to tune their cars with and he has since started tuning again

There are several reputable guys on here who remote tune using hp tuners. Term2 has a good rep, and mine was tuned by 09cobaltSS1, he is also very thorough. Area 51 also has a good rep but I don't know if he still does it or not. Only thing I liked about trifecta was the selectable tune. Other than that the hp tune I have now is way better. I hated on my trifecta tune that I had to wait 2 weeks to hear from them. Seems when Vince was More involved years ago they had a better rep.

Thanks for the info! Yeah I do like the idea that Trifecta I could switch tune on and off. So if I contacted Terminator2 basically he would email me tunes to flash onto my car? Who is Terminator2 exactly? Does he have his own shop where he writes tunes? Or is he just a big part of the tuner crowd for the cobalts? Sorry if these are dumb questions.

Lol well based on all the recommendations he gets he must be good. So you think I'm better off getting a HP tune from Terminator2 rather then getting Trifecta. I'm worried now Trifecta is going to give me a shitty tune
