Need Help 08 LNF

My 08 LNF when you turn either direction left or right the I have to force the wheels back to center all the recalls have been done so its not that. Any ideas?

Had same problem 2 weeks ago, open the hood and look towards the back on of the engine bay near the firewall on the right side. You need 2 people for this, find your intermediate shaft and hit with PB blaster while someone is in the car turning left and right full lock several times.


If this works, it will buy some time but you will need to replace your intermediate shaft as it is binding. Mine is good 2 weeks after lubing it.

Not exact picture but just coat the sides down at the joints forget the slide joint its the joints pointed out in yellow that bing when dried/corroded, mine was all rusty :

I don't, did you try lubricating/pb blasting it first? Just call a dealership and ask for the part number. They must install thousands of these

Does that part fix the notorious clunk in the steering when going over very small bumps?

That's a loaded question for a delta platform. From what I have seen, binding in the steering and a clunk when quickly turning back at forth while stopped are indications of a bad intermediate shaft.
