Weekend at Track

Went and ran an Airport Track this weekend

Best run was

13.044 at 107.75 MPH

Also ran a

13.173 at 108.30 MPH

good job D-mac, we had a decent weekend i think any ways reached my personal best wich is great for an airport!

what were your 60fts? my best was 2.24 wich is when i ran 14.7.., i figure i shoulda been at 2.0 with the DR's

Wow so close to the 12's on a sticky track you should have no problems hitting high 12's.

Trap speed suffered a bit when i took a bit more air from the slicks to grab at the line better

My best 60' was 2.004

I was super happy on how well the car performed this weekend

thats really good 60fts darren.., maybe i had to much air in my DR's ah well a real track will tell

On a real track he can likely cut 1.7-1.8 sixty foot times with those slicks. That a some careful NLSing should have him well into the 12s.

good job d-mac.....what psi did you have in them....when I had 20psi I cut 2.00 when I droped it to 15 psi I had some 1.8's

I know it will. With practice (better track too) and a few more tune tweaks (91 octane means very little timing can be run without knocking) it will be easily into the 12s.

d-mac was this at thunder in the valley in Port? If you live live around Nanaimo there's a group of us that meet at Timmy's on Bowen rd across from cybercity every (non raining) sat. night at 9pm. some stangs, grand nationals, firebirds show up regularly you should come and stop by.
