Weird Problem

So i have had my dash trim apart to be painted, and just haven't put it back for awhile, and its still not together. This also happened to me before when i had it apart as well, the backlighting behind the radio, and buttons and gauge cluster haven't been lighting up.. Has this happened to anyone else? When i put my dash back together before it worked.. So i have no idea what it could be...

It has to have something to do with the dimmer switch next to your fog lamp button.

I made sure it was hooked up and everything, and i've tried to turn it but nothing. Maybe once i hook everything else back up?

Have you actually disconnected some wiring? If so, it might work when you get everything hooked back up. Some of that stuff is in series. I'd have to see a schematic to know for sure. It's possible that the switch was damaged at some point, though. Do you have a multimeter?

Sounds like you are missing a ground connection someplace. Are all the screws back in the pieces? Look for a wire that may have supposed to go under a screw for ground. Just my 2cents, no experience on these dash pieces.
