What Should I be Paying - Ordering 2009 SS/TC
Just curious what kind of deals everyone has been getting with their local dealerships on ordering some new 2009's. I will be ordering mine in late November. I have been to the dealership and have been given a price. My options are everything (including the spare tire at $75) except the High rise spoiler.
Dealer Quoted Prices:
Before tax and tag - $25,370.00
after - $26,672.20
The price before the tax and tag are right on with the MSRP. Can everyone let me know what kind of prices they paid or how much they got the dealer to go below the MSRP for ordering a new 2009.
Thanks

My bank^^^ I do have great credit too 4.9
whether it's 60 or 36 months
60 months isn't 72, think of RATE as RISK factor.
did you pay cash? lol, if not then please include financing costs before you discourage people.

You should be paying no more than invoice for the car (but I have no idea what that is, so I'm no help). A dealer friend of mine informed me that even at invoice they make plenty but anything over that is just money in their pocket.
Any privileged salesman types out there willing to fess up the invoice price of the car?
Negotiate the price of the car first, then worry about the payments/interest...

I got real close to that before they were offering GMS. But I bought when they had $1500 in rebates, so it all balances out. For the guy who got OTD @ 21k....he must have some dirt on the sales manager or something, lol.
GMS pricing is basically GM's Employee discount. Currently GM is offering GMS pricing on most of their models. Except Saab and others...
I got GMS pricing on my SS/SC when I first got it. It stickered for 21k and after GMS pricing it was 19k...
