installing a shift light which wire do i tap the green wire into to pick up the tach pickup

 

i dont know that anyone with a Balt TC has done one (we dont really need one with NLS), check the HHR forums

 

I want to know this too because All I ever hear is how there is no up top power.
Mine pulls all the way to the redline and wants to go further I never feel a loss of power.

then agian I am untuned.

 

Use a Quick Connect 3m Conector so you do not have to cut into wire harness for the Injector on the cyclinder closest to the left.

It is the brown wire I think


I have a Shift light because I like to set it at a certain RPM's for launching and also I like to set it to a certain RPM for when some one else drives it so they aren't bouncing it off the rev limiter all the time to get used to it ... (girls)

i tryed almost every wire going tot he coils lol .. non worked my shift light has the setting for 4 6 and 8 cycl but not for 1 cyl could this be the problem do i need a new shift light or is there a way to make it work

 

It takes a while but if I remember correctly I had to set mine to the default GM mode Cylider 1 https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/show...t+light+wiring .. Set it for 1.5 k rpms to test so your not revving it for no reason ...

 

i have an 08 ss tc i installed a shift light in mine to the purple wire on coil pack 1 all the way on the left on the passenger side you can pm me for any questions
