Who has put their TC away for the winter.. or just cant drive it meow?
Guys, this is killing me! My balt is sitting in my grandparents garage for the winter.... or at least till I get a nice day to take it out... I miss the thing so much.. I only have got 1500 miles with it! I dont get to see it everyday! I come on here everyday and read the forums and it makes me miss it more! At least its staying nice and no miles. lol . My driveway is 1/2 mile long and sucks in the winter time and I dont have a place to store it inside at the house. So its across town. Also I broke my right hand.... so damn! I just wanted to Vent and see who else was sorta going through the same thing. Cant wait for the Tax return and nice weather!

Think of the good thing it's free from winter wrecks if you'd have one no miles are getting added so it will hold valve longer in the mileage way. Once it gets nice out you can buy cool things to add in the spring

I can drive mine on occasion when it's not bad. My other 2 however, not so much. The Balt is taking a 1200 mile round trip on Tuesday. Hoping for only rain if it does percipitate.

'Not the type of car you would put away for winter'? Some of us are poor.... so we want to take care of it.. . Its the first new car that I have bought. I have a truck to drive in the winter. The car would be a total wreck if i drove it. I live on 50 acres and the drive goes down half of it. its not pretty! lol

surriously tho...you want a car that requires being garage kept when there is snow out, don't drop 20ks drop 60k+.
and about being poor...please if you have another car (even if its a beater) you are not by any means poor. 2 cars?! really?!
c'mon folks, i love my balt as much as the next - but at the end of the day, its four wheels and an engine that gets me where i need to go

dude not complaining. i'd store it too if i could - just riding a bicycle in the winter is no bueno...lol
trust me if i had my 97 saturn i'd rock it in the winter - god knows the plastic handles the salt well..
and i'm no mechanic, but i understand the idea of wrench time...i don't know alot, but what i've done has taken time and i'm proud of my work...i agree its a 10/20k investment, but lets be honest, it is a car, and some of us need to actually drive them because of a lack of other modes of transportation. when i can afford another car, the balt is getting a paint touch up and garage treatment...only comin out for nice weekend treks....

Why? so we can sand blast the paint off the side skirts. I had a beater already , but i still would have bought another one if i had to. ****.. the ice chunks that fall off trucks around here would take off the front lip, nevermind being soaked in salt and covered with sand and dirt. NO thanks.....It might be a COBALT ......But it's my COBALT hehe
