The million dollar answer for these cars is who can find wheels with enough clearance without using wheel spacers...nobody has found any wheels that clear them with a safe clearance...most are thinking of using wheel spacers....

Where did you get 20mm offset from? The OEM wheels are 42mm offset...

If it were only as easy as calling a wheel shop...I've been to 5 local wheel/tire shops (looking for winters) and not one has any idea what will fit. 4 of the 5 called their "wheel specialist" all of which insisted any 17 or bigger will fit. I bickered with the first few then said screw it for the last couple... Almost no one has any experience with the 08-09's and wheel fitment. Hopefully someone can find a good shop, or someone they know that works at one, that can throw on a ton of different wheels and find out what actually fits.

get where im coming from?
but he came to a MESSAGE BOARD to ASK A QUESTION, which is apparently an unheard of thing to you... he didn't want to call a shop, he wanted to ask a ******* question on a message board, a good one at that... I could understand if its something that has been beaten to death on here(like GM stage kits), but have you checked our sticky on wheels? its a ******* brembo brake topic, hardly any posts about WHEELS...

not unheard of, i will admit i may have been a bit harsh yesterday, i had a VERY bad day to say the least/ under alot of stress (effing school!)... i appologize for that.
however at the same time it seems i took the way he was asking in the wrong context.

this is how i meant it to come across.... go to a local wheel/ tire specialist, show up and talk to them in person, let them know the dilemma and if they would spend some time figuring something out with you, if they are a good shop and reputible at that they should have no problem with this as it will only lead to more business...

trebs... do you not understand what hes asking ? sure he can call a shop, they can get him rims that will fit.... but unless they are a brembo wheel tire and brake fitting company im pretty sure they will not know what will clear the brakes. he knows what size rim fits his car. he just doesent know what rims will clear the brakes without spacer. jeeze give him a break .
