Will a 17 inch rim fit a 08/09 SS ?
I'd rather investigate other options before settling for this one...
There are a lot of people who think this will work, but nobody has proven it by actually putting smaller wheels on this car...

However, I have yet to hear of anyone that has actually proven this with fitment.
I have looked into it, but I believe that wheels are usually made to transfer some of the force to the hub and axle. If you use these spacers, I believe that it puts a lot of unnecessary force on the wheel bearings and such...

The guy at Belle Tire did a fitment test, he even took a 15" rim with a +45 offset and it fit. So I guess will shall see when winter is almost near and I get the 16's, I'll let you know if they fit.
Can tell you right now he did not do that on an SS/TC. A 15" rim doesn't even fit on an SS/SC without grinding down calipers.
idk...he did it right in front of me..i saw it with my own eyes...but if I order those 16's and they dont fit, then its on him to return them...i'm not about to pay a fee for something they said would fit
I see there being no way in hell that a 15" rim would fit on the front of an SS/TC. Hell, the damn Brake Rotor itself is almost 15".
At least with the Spare... if you catch the flat in time... you can get a hole patched.
Not to mention, with the goop, you have to re-inflate the tire.
Spare over goop. What if the tire explodes? Goop won't fix that.
Actually... screw both of them. AAA to the rescue.
Eh, pointless. Once you use that goop kit... that tire is done for... you'll have to get a new one.

Posted what I was gonna post.
Screw the spare, I am calling GM roadside assistence
Exactly. I DID use my spare on a trip once. It was Sunday and I was 600 miles from home... and "Slime" did NOT work.
But I don't keep it with me know, unless I'm going more than 200 miles from home.
**** looked Gay-As-AIDS...
