Winters coming, All Seasons or Winter Tires?
If you have summers then I would say get winters.
That said, I run uhp all-seasons, always have, and I've never once had an issue.
You just gotta know how to drive in the snow.
I've driven in 17 winters so far. The one issue I've ever had was someone else unable to control their car.

From: 6000ft on a Mountain in Colorado!
I have had issues with my integra all seasons, but that was once and I stopped on a hill and couldn't get going again. Some guy in a truck behind me got out and pushed me and that's all it took.
But I do care about my cobalt more for some reason.

I'd get dedicated snow tires. I bought some last year after getting stuck and being late to work numerous times and it actually made me looking forward to driving around in the snow.
