This thread is almost as bad as the S2ki thread.

Oh well. I've raced with and driven S2ks on numerous tracks. I know what they're capable of, and they are fast. Some of them are ridiculously fast.

The Mosport pro course is a hp track the videos you see Venom on is a very small, tight DDT. The back straight at Mosport with a fast car or bike will have you shitting your pants the first time you hit it and go into turn 11 I think it is.

Who makes the majority of cobalt owners? Younger people, younger people = invincible attitude.

Who makes the majority of civic owners? Younger people, younger people = invincible attitude.

Who makes the majority of S2k owners? Younger people, younger people = invincible attitude, they just have more money now but still kept the attitude lol.

Yeah, the F20C engine ******* sucks. If only it could make over 700whp in its bone stock form with forced induction, then it'd be a cool engine.

Cobalt interior is superior. It has the same exact steering wheel as a Corvette. Nuff said.

Thread is getting rediculous. As someone else pointed out..pretty much apples and oranges. I pointed out superior track times of TC because someone opened the door on that topic. But you really can't compare these cars. Sure, the Honda is a nicer car, albeit not a better performing car. Hell, it ought to be nicer inside for an almost 15K higher MSRP.

It always comes down to the interior when comparing other "performance" cars to the ss/tc. If I was as slow as these other cars than damn right I should have better creature comforts to keep me occupied.

My favorite post

There is no "Hate", there is just resentment for claiming BS numbers like the ring times, it's just simple physics, that car will not out handle a cayman s or the s2k on the ring, it's just facts.

Damn right, the F20C needs a thicker head gasket to do that. What a piece of junk it is.

Only those that are less fortunate to know about the strength of the F20c will dog it. That motor, all though gutless in stock form, is capable of being an absolute monster that loves to rev. I've seen some purpose built motors clipping 11,000 RPM (crazy valve train) and making 400+whp, N/A (Built by some big dogs that build astonishing N/A V8's).

Me personally, I think the S2k is a great little ride. Just needs some form of F/I from the factory to really make a complete package.

As far as that forum goes and their owners attitude, WGAFF.... The whole "twisties" argument on the street is null and void, for the most part. Obviously both cars can perform when driven well, just let it go.

Besides, I like having my unexpectedly fast 4 door sleeper and being humble, until it's time to drop the hammer

these cars are in two different classes but bottom line is the cobalt outperforms the s2k in many aspects... the sooner people accept it and get on with their lives the better... you can think the s2k is a superior car and maybe it is...The Op was never claiming that the cobalt is a better built car or more stylish but numbers and countless reviews from many reputable test drivers don't lie. this car is a better performer stock for stock. so the trolls can spread that on their fanboi honda sandwiches.
