Like Matt said it's not about being better or worse, it's about getting a turbo that you want. Precision turbos are expensive, but you get what you pay for. Not saying the ZFR is bad, it's a great turbo. People in the cobalt community are so damn cheap lol

Why not matt, go ahead push it. lol

Precision turbos aren't really that expensive if you look at a comparable Garrett, Forced Performance, or Comp Turbo.

The WR-3 is a 5557 with a ported S-shroud by the way, don't know if that was answered.

Super nice turbo.

Super nice turbo.

It was being compared to a Borg Warner none of the others for price reference here. Not that the price is substantially different but my 5557 originally was more then my 6758

My question was not really answered. I asked what makes the wr-3 worth $500 more than the ZFR. If there is no real answers, then that is the answer
If they both are reliable, and both make the same power, and are both bolt-on, why spend the extra money??? kinda common sense really, but whatevs...lol
Now if the wr-3 makes more power, or has a better power band, and is possibly more durable, then its worth the money obviously.

There is no real way to answer that lol. I would say that the WR3 will make more power and has a better power and up top. I think the wr3 is a slighty larger turbo

I wouldn't speculate that it will make more power up top. The K04 exhaust housing is pretty tiny inside. That is going to be the limiting factor of that turbo. I'd be curious to see how much power it can support.

Like I said, it's just my guess. I'm interested to see what it can support also. I will be putting e47 and meth to it in the spring. But I don't have larger cams or anything else to really support fueling needs so I will prolly run out of space. haha
