zzp lower CP

I want to get the zzp lower cp. but I want to keep my stock intake box for now but later I will upgrade to the K & N short ram but I would just get another tune when I upgrade. So what I want to know is, can I buy theirs and just replace mine. I have the GMS1 + hp tune or do I need to have an intake.

if so in a year when I get the turbo kit can I just buy the block off and use that pipe?

So I'm trying to read between the lines here. Do you want to do a MAF relocation?
If you do why not go ahead and then just block off the MAF spot on the stock intake.

Whats the reason for asking about it? Its a pipe its not going to affect your fuel trims etc.

It has been shown though that it moves the sensor a little closer to the engine which can cause the IAT2 temps to be a little higher.

you can get a block off plate for the stock MAF location on the stock airbox. I believe ZZP sells that WITH the lower charge pipe as an add on thing. Email them.
