If you read the top part of my review, I discuss the install. If the downpipe wasn't in the way I could have been done in 30 minutes no problem. Turned into about 2 hours though start to finish.

 

Anyone know how these compare to the ZZP Gen 2 mounts? I can't decide which ones to get.

 

Does anyone have just the two polly mounts from OTTP? Do those work well for our SS/TC, do they alleviate some of the problems discussed above?

 

i have the poly mount insterst..brand new, got the rotated mounts to go in instead, are you interested?

 

which stage mounts did u get?

 

stage 2, puttin them in tomorrow.... along with my DP CP and tuned comp, iv been back to stock for like 6 months now its killing me haha

I'd the stage 2 OTTP/Powell back in March. Very liveable even for a DD with coilovers and super low profile tires. The only time I'd notice a very little vibration is when I am at a stop with the AC on and once it rev past 1000rpm, the vibration is gone. I have had 0 wheel-hops.
As a side note to you all, check how much your front passenger wheel creeps forward on a dyno. I was quite surprised. OTTP/Powell control arm bushings will eliminate most of this (torque steer).

 

Will gm void warranty with the mounts? And will stage 1 mounts be enough for a 310whp sstc? Or do u really need stage 2?

 

i have the same mounts and raised my idle speed to 1000 rpm with ac on or off and its much smoother, killed most of the vibrations completely
