Angry 08 SS TC going through coolant like crazy..

I'v went through just about a gallon of coolant in a month, went to the dealer for my appointment. He said it looks like the head gasket is shot and its burning in the motor. No outside leaks. Anyone else have this going oN??? Figures it would be my luck

lnf seems to be a strong engine, this is only the 2nd big issue ive seen on this forum. your issue should be covered under warranty though so....let us know how the fix goes.

could be porous block like mine was. block was defective from the factory and was leaking coolent into my oil prerry bad. its not a bad head gasket, its caused by the block being cast bad so it cant seal with the head right. got a hole new motor. make sure u tell them to check for that.

My SS/TC was leaking coolant about a month or so ago, went to dealer and they fixed it under warranty. The hose had a hole in it and was leaking out of it, just had to replace the hose.

Why in the world would you not take it in under warranty?

Agreed...that is a clear warranty candidate if you are stock.

And when I took my SS/TC in for the warranty work on the hose from the coolant, I had my Hahn intake installed and I was tuned. Not a word was said, basically because the mods didnt have **** to do with the hose.
