09 cobalt ss wont start

Came outside this morning and the battery is completely dead. I try and jump it and still wont start, everything cuts on but it just clicks. Had it connected for a good 10 minutes, any thoughts?

have you touched your positive post on your fuse box recently? i know it seemed that mine backed off about 2 weeks after installing my retros and that caused the issue. all the elec. would work until i turned the key to start, then they would cut out

If it was just the battery wouldnt it still start while it was hooked up to the other car?

if its "clicks" rapidly when cranking, the starter isnt engaging all the way, meaning not enough amps are getting there.
try boosting it again, and move the cables around more to get better contact

make sure u have a good ground. no paint, bare metal bolt. it can only be a couple things. it obviously isnt ur starter cause starter clicks. does the clicking slow down at all? as u try to start it? and maybe trying connecting another car and revving the engine of the running car while connected to try and give a charge for a good minute or so. then try. if still nothing.. then could be a wire problem. but wat happens when u try to start without being jumped? and wat changed when u try while being jumped.

No the clicking does not slow done at all and I could try another car. When i try and start without being jumped nothing comes on and when I try to start it while being jumped everything comes on but just clicks. Im getting sparks on contact so i thought i had a good connection but i will try it again

I got the car used about six months ago had 43k on it. The previous owner had a system on it could be related to that. And it was the battery thanks however now the radio does not power on and the tpm is blank do both of these have fuses that could have blown?

Check the manual. If u don't have one, passenger side at the front of the center consol is the fuse box

make sure you connect the negative to the frame of the car... I really hate watching people jump cars by connecting battery to battery....

Wait 5-10 minutes of charging. Then try to start it WHILE still connected to the running car. Once started drive to the local Pepboys or Autozone and buy a new battery. then swap it out right there and get your $20 trade in back.
