I'm not saying that 17's are better then 18's for street or track use but would like to get a more indepth point on view, i do plan on tracking my car but not like a race season or anything but mayeb a few times a month for seat time and maybe a time attack event. I would also like a low profile and considering stance GR+ coilovers. On the stance thread review 1LSJ2NV and RKRamos have good looking cars sitting on17's i do not want to drop down in rim size but would i have any advantage track wise with goin with a lower rim size or is it just preference for the wheel choice?

 

17's offer a potential of weight savings (rotational mass) and a taller sidewall.

 

what would u run in my position? looking at the enki's pf01's i think they are. and powdercoat them black but i've heard i need a conversion to get them in 18x9 or even 17x9

 

I honestly couldn't give you a good answer with regard to what type of rims and what's required with regard to spacers/off sets.

I'll bet you could find it on here somewhere. But for tracking, I'd run the stockers.
