1st gear boost on GMS1

I heard some say that 1st gear is limited to around 8lbs with gms1, but with mine I can achieve around 10-12 lbs with the gms1... btw what is stock setup concerning boost limit in 1st??

thats wierd. I think the GMS1 is limited to 18 psi in first and 22-23 in the remaining gears....

It is mostly load related. 1st gear is a light load on the engine so it will not produce as much boost pressure as the other gears even if it is commaded to.

I dont know about GMS1 settings. Stock for me seemed like I was making like 12-15psi and then theres the throttle limit which is something like 66% throttle in first gear. Damn torque management

Yeah, I make something like 9-12psi (well, for me it's 60-80kPa) in first with stock tune. I would think the amount of boost would vary quite a bit depending on enviromental conditions and engine load, so its likely difficult to compare without being in similar conditions. *shrug*
