2.2 and LNF = do they have the same Crank Damper?
oh ok thanks much!
I was looking at ATI serpentine dampers for the 2.2Liter ecotec. They sell 5.5" OD (12% underdrive) and 6.78" OD.
I'm not really looking for hp benefit.......but wanted to get them to protect my engine especially with my current build. Plus while the engine is pulled out, I wana replace things that I can.
The stock crank damper is a good unit plus having the rubber isolator on it too. But not really sure if it will be able to handle the demands if I get 600hp, and rev at 7-7500rpm for long periods of time when I'm at a road-racing event.
I already have a new SPEC stage 3+ clutch with light flywheel, and gmpp balance shaft blanks
If ATI damper is a good choice, which size will be a good application for my set-up especially if it's a daily driven car as well? 5.5'? 6.78"?
thanks!
