Yup, oil starvation. Spun the main and a few of the rod bearings. Powell's trap door oil pan is what I didn't know I needed...

Good to know, I am going to track the hell out of an LNF once I get one and I've been trying to research as much as I can to see what they need to keep that from happening. Any other helpful tips or info?

Looks like you could use a new boot. Mine did that too. Redline goods sells some that are real leather. They are tough to install since the real leather is so much thicker than the oem fake stuff but it looks good. Just need a stapler that can punch through the leather and into the hard plastic retainer clip.

I used a metal pick to poke holes where the staples go. Made it much easier to fasten.

Adrian has the cobalt we would want to have, fast, and it handles well too.

That looks pretty good - Are you doing all the silver trim pieces on the dash?

BTW, I'm celebrating 14 years with my cobalt in July - Bought her back in July 2005 off the showroom floor.

Just the 4 pieces! I did the center trim that is like a square with 2 cut outs and it was painful. Once I get an aftermarket stereo it will fit well and I will have to do another for the 2 dials for temp and fan.

this piece was a bit harder and I got a bit restless during that wrap so I missed a few small bubbles...

Going to be installing an aftermarket stereo so expect that silver trimmed radio to disappear in a month and I am going to either look for hot/cold stickers if they exist or else I have some taillight vinyl that apparently shows through just darker so maybe I will just make it darker so the current symbols show

I watched a ~5 min video on youtube about applying the wrap and then basically you put the trim down on a surface you can work on, clean it free from dirt and dust, cut wrap that is a bit bigger than the piece you are working on, stick it on while trying to eliminate bubbles starting and then heat it up to mold it to your liking!

Depends on the piece you are wrapping it can take long if there is a lot of grooves and bumps.

Yup I hear ya brother. I'm in the process of my suspension rebuild with fe5 parts and powell racing parts. Thankfully Powell is based out of Canada so its not too bad. But yeah shipping over the boarder can be a bitch sometimes lol.
