3in exhaust ?
Not trying to thread jack here lol.. but I'll just add to my post:
Seems to be at around 12 AFR, knock is bouncing all over the place these days, so I think you're right in the spark plugs; it was my first guess and already bought some today.. no time to put 'em in until I'm back from work on Saturday tho so it'll have to stay for now. Sometimes old oil will make it knock but I know it's not that since it was only a month ago I changed it. Might try some 110 or 114 race gas and see if it still knocks just for the hell of it lol.. curious anyways. Also wanna put some seafoam through it to clean it out since DI's tend to get dirty quickly from what I understood in the past. Not sure how to do that, but I know there's a thread around here someplace.. :P
Thx again tho

On my dyno runs, I picked up 12WHP going from .85 -> .87/.88
Also I kelp my timing at 13 degree's. Its completely different when tuning for E85 also. Tuning is different where you live also. I do it at 3200+ ft of elevation.
The rule of thumb with these motors is commanding .87-.88 (Ramping it with E85)
The side effect to running leaner is better gas mileage, as long as you are not getting any detonation.

I don't know what to tell ya man. The dyno graph speaks for itself here. Like I said though, I don't necessary doubt your gains, but as far as comparing these 2 cars with the different tunes, mine personally worked better richer. This was all on pump gas mind you..
On my ethanol blend, I have no hard numbers to compare here so I'm kinda flying blind. However, I am running .88 lambda with 22* of timing with e47 so I agree with you there.
As far as elevation goes, I don't see anything past 100kpa baro so yeah things are very different there so maybe that's the difference. Who knows? I just wanted to get my 2 cents in there and debate it..
Thats way too rich.... And thats less than stock timing. No wonder you are not making any more power. All the did was richen you up, raise the boost, and retard your timing.
::shrugs shoulders::

What part of Oklahomo are you from?
Personally, I'd go back to the tuner and get some/all of my money back, because he doesn't know what he's doing. If you want to come down here, I could tune you for cheap. I'm in Texarkana, Texas/Arkansas.

It would be point less for me to go back down there cause it was my flat yeah he might not have known Wht he was doing but I could have said no so it's kinda my flat to and Usmcfieldmp it PM u but it said ur box was full
ehh that's sort of debatable. I put down more whp running .82lambda with 22psi and less bolt-ons than a very competant tuner from on here running .87lambda at 25psi on the same dyno.
I don't want to cause an argument or anything, I just wanted to throw it out there..
oh and I was running only 13* of timing as compared to his 15*

I feel AFRs should have been slightly richer to the OP as well.
I told the tuner that my tune was to rich and didn't have enofe timing this is Wht he wrote back so far(12.8-12.9 is what normally aspirated car runs, you can't tune turbo cars that lean or you will melt pistons and rings)
I know that direct injection can run leaner. *If this wasn't direct injection, I wouldn't push any harder than 11.8 a/f. *the log shows .85 lambda when I was tuning it. *It wasn't .82. Either way, *I'm suprised that people would tune it this lean. *Also, the main reason why it made the number is due to boost dropping to 18psi at higher rpm. *It has nothing to do with the a/f I tuned to.
