scythe, one more thing, dont underestimate me. yea got it, im not a mechanic, im not a tuner genious, none of that, i am just another guy that knows the basics, and with the basics, i see the problems, and seek ways to fix them any way i can, with any help available. you will have a PM soon. you will find it interesting. so think what you want about a secondary fuel system not being needed.......... . . ..

 

1) You're regurgitating information that you don't really know about. Cool story. Has it been proven? Or are you trying to simply be the guinea pig for it? Yes I would actually like you to post it. Site your source. I know 5 DSMs/Evos in the garage right now that have a lot more than what you have/will try to be getting, and they're still breaking. What you're doing isn't new what so ever. This is a typical hardcore setup on FI 4 cylinders. In the cobalt community yes it may be new, but even then LSJs have been fully built as well, and in the world LNFs have as well. Anyone with enough money can build a race car, which is what you're trying to make your car. No where near a street car, and I highly doubt you'll be able to drive it well enough. I'll also see you in 2020 when the car is complete.

2) The stock fuel system can support it just fine, companies have ran it for almost a full year with no issues whatsoever. So once again, your thought process is incorrect.

3) Okay, adding that secondary fuel system is going to take quite the bit of work and since you're the guinea pig for it (if not please cite some other street LNFs that are currently using it and I'd like to see numbers and flow charts, etc) and also not trying to make really that much more HP than other people....will the end justify the means? I don't think so.

4) Actually I knew before you PM'ed me your parts list. I have my own sources and friends. And once again...I don't give a flying ****. You want people to kiss your ass because you're spending literally the cars MSRP in parts and labor to try to have a nasty cobalt. It will be nasty whenever you finish it, but I doubt you'll be able to drive it that much as things always break and get worn away as you break into the motor and the like. Quick, yes it may be, reliable for a daily driver or whatever...I think not. And you don't have the know how to fix anything on your car.

5) I will have fun running on my stock tranny. Have you noticed that pretty much NO ONE has blown their tranny pushing less than 400. I'm pretty sure that there are both LSJs and LNFs that have had the **** beat out of them and are still running fine. Terminator's car is fine. matt_m's balt took 350+ launches on slicks and 300+ dyno pulls and numbers WAAAAY above 400 to kill his trans. Just because of your experience and no doubt driver error, does not mean everyone's trans will fail like yours. My trans so far with 6K on it is fine. Is 6K a lot, no, but time will tell and I'm fairly confident that it will last. Again, Boosted_Cobalt09/Matt isn't running a built trans. Hmmm, odd eh? People with their cars on the road are doing just fine and pushing more HP than you are. And are you ******* retarded, just because something is built does not mean that it won't be blown or hurt. This shows just how stuck in Need for Speed and Midnight Club you are. Just because your tranny is built doesn't mean it can't break. I have an evo 9 guy with a built "shep" 5 speed trans and he almost grenaded on him. And countless other nissans, and Toyotas, etc. You, again, have downs.

5.5) And you're last statement "me, i won't blow mine. sorry." what is this 4th grade? you sound like the retarded kid who sits in the corner and his mother told him what to say to people when they debate what he is saying. 6) No badbaltguy, I will not come close to making a swing set on your nuts because you spend a ton of money to have a few custom parts made. Do you honestly think that WERKS is going to put out all the parts you have done? As I said earlier, 99% of the cobalt community won't be buying a built trans or even looking at one for monetary reasons or whatever it may be. There is no huge market on it. There are a few people who have big turbos and its going to stay like that. Very people will go with big setups, and companies know that! You want people to praise you for this and glorify you as a hero to the cobalt community. Not going to happen. You've already shown us just how intelligent you are jarhead.

7) There is hope now?! You act like it is of dire need! Again, most cobalts aren't going to go big turbo and there is no huge demand for the parts in correlation to that!! In a few years maybe, the SRT-4 shot up like that, the cobalt may or may not, but as of now....no market for it really. It will be custom stuff that you'd have to call in for.

7.5) I think very clearly before I post. And no, you still post bullshit like you used to. You still don't know what you're talking about, you just have a bit of money. You post what you've been told out of context most likely.

8) I don't need to under estimate you, you've already shown the whole cobalt community what you're capable of and as you continue to post you continue to make your downs hole deeper. And you don't half way know the basics. Your ways of fixing them (or thinking of fixing them) are invalid as you don't know ****.

9) I read your pm and responded to you....I don't find it interesting.
