Aeroforce interceptor question

Can this read AFR?

If so, is it as simple as plugging the damn thing in?

i don't think it does but the interceptor has 2 aux inputs that u can make it read a/f ratio if you would like.. i am probably going to get a pair of these for my 08 and i looked into the a/f ratio on it and that is what i found... of course if i am wrong someone is welcome to correct me :^)

In a normal case this would be true. BUT in are case we have a stock wide band so the gauge will read the numbers from the OBD2 port.

as far as i am aware you need to buy a lambda cable in order for the Interceptor to read wideband which is like 200 bucks

I have just what came with it (the cable to connect them to the OBD2 port). It is reading it just fine and is showing the same numbers as HPT showed when it got tuned.

Yes and Yes! NO cables needed other than plug it in and GO. Read my post here - I was the first 2008 Cobalt SS with Interceptor gauges!

Sensors that work:

IAT1
IAT2
Ambient
Coolant
Catalytic Converter Temp
RPM
Boost
MAP KPA
MAF lb/m
MPH
Throttle Percent
Ignition Advance
Short Trm B1
Long Trm B1
Engine Load
Rail Pressure (BTW its around 550psi at idle FYI)
HP
Run Time
Barometric Pressure
Battery Voltage
Lambda
A/F ratio (YES it is a wideband)
MAF Frequency 1
Fuel
O2 B1S2
Oil Temp
instant MPG\MPG average
Misfires

Resetting the long term fuel works from the menu.
Resetting and reading CEL works
Fan controls (high and low) works
performance gauge works (measures 0-60, 1/8th mile, 1/4 mile times and MPHs)

Probably work but don't know how to test:
o2 current
ABS Throttle Pos
Knock 1

Does not work:
Fuel trim cell
A/F cmd
OIL PRESSURE (Damnit GM (and others), why cant you spend the extra few dollars on a simple sensor?)
Trans temp and basically all the sensors related to an automatic transmission (obviously). Maybe this works when the cobalt comes out with the auto.

Here is a pic installed in my car of the 3 gauge pillar

I think it was an eBay special - I dont remember. Pillars made for the 07 and earlier fit. (this was advertised as one for an 06)
