Anyone ever try this part?

Lightweight Alternator Pulley - Ecotec 2.0LNF/2.2/2.4 - 5 ribs: by Make and Model - Chevrolet - Cobalt - Ecotec 5rib Alt pulley - Car Performance Parts And Auto Accessories | MRZ Performance

I bought this pulley like 2 years ago and never put it on, just because I would have to take my alternator off, and my mechanic told me that the aluminium might not be as durable as the stock steel one. Anyone have any good results with it?

looks to be billet. I wouldn't see any reason why it wouldn't be as durable.

Better than a crank pulley, but really, there's no gain to be had here.

Hell, I'd put the pulley on for a slight bit of bling!

That's about the only benefit... As long as it's not underdriving the alternator there's really no downside I can see, but also no benefits...

Judging by the picture, it looks the same size or smaller than factory. If its smaller than it would be overdriving the alternator which would make it spin faster and put off charge better but also put more load on the engine.
