Auto LNF Dyno

Just came across this today in a thread on the hhr forum looks like the 4t45 can handle a little more than we all thought.

Ya, our car could probably handle 600ft pounds and 600hp,..... For one pull. Lol it's not about if it can make one dyno run at that power it's if it can last a few or more years at that power

Me too thats a lot of torque down low
If they keep that tune on it probably wont last long though

That is a silly high reading dyno out of MD that I know all too well. A few years back, a car from that area came up my way for a dyno day/meet we had set up and put down something like 285whp/330wtrq. He was completely heart broken and would never speak of the dyno session. Then magically a few days later, on the very same tune, ran on that dyno and put down something like 355whp/405wtrq (I'll have to dig up the exact numbers and sheet again when I get a chance). Absolutely inflated numbers! Which is very likely the situation at hand here as well, ESPECIALLY with those numbers on an auto trans.

Looks like a stock turbo at 34psi
