Bad start ups?

Recently my car has been starting up oddly. It starts up normally to high idle to get the engine to temp but a second later it dips anywhere between 500-800 rpms. After about a second or two of this it jumps back up to normal idle. It actually shut off on me the other day because it got too bogged down. Also it has been cold where I'm at so idk if that could effect it but it has never done this before. Any ideas? Thinking of taking it to the dealer to see what the problem is but I don't wanna get slapped with a huge bill. Thank you for any help

Ran heet a week ago. didn't fix it. I normally don't let the tank get too low. Just checked some of the vacuum hoses. low and behold one of them is broken from the intake. that could be deff my issue. Any idea on repair cost for that? The plastic is broken right at the intake. Looks like im going to have to replace the intake hose. Gotta love this. Cold weather ***** everything up.

Yeah that one. it's about 6 inches back from the air filter. So I think we're thinking of the same one. Idk maybe I could have broken it changing my air filter but that was over a year ago and it just started doing this about 3 weeks ago. It drives just fine. Do you think it would hurt it to continue to drive it until I get it fixed? If I don't reply it's because I have to go to work soon. but I'll be on here later tonight

I like working on vehicles myself, but I'd send it in as a warranty claim, that's why you spent the money on it, why dick around with something that's not your problem?

yuck, either buy someone's stock intake system off the site, or get an aftermarket intake like the k&n sri.

I have a stocker I can sell. The nipple is part of the inlet duct to the turbo, right? I doubt a 2008 is still under the 36k bumper to bumper warranty, but you can try if it is.

GMPD has it for ~$57 shipped, I'll sell mine for $40 shipped.

PM me if you are interested.
