generally pucks have harsh engagement points which make daily driving a nitemare, you can't ease out a puck or slip it you might can get away with a single disc but usually to get high torque hold and daily driving pedal feel you have to get like a twin disc i think which cost a lot of money

from what i have read on the forums the stock clutch can take up to around ~350whtq could be wrong, i like the clutch i have in my car now but i didn't get it put in so i have no idea what kind it is

search ky clutch theres along thread about it. there 6pcks have held 450+wtq they can make a ceramic or kevlar or both . They can give you wut ever you want, theres about 20 balts running this clutch now and no issues. I do as well since i ran it in my lsj and my lnf, no issue, clutch pedal is stiffer but not much with the douvle sided ceramic 6 puck disc.

The Exedy is def a bit heavy on the foot. If you never plan on upgrading from stock turbo, the Spec 2+ would be fine. We offer installs for $400 flat fee plus Fluids Charge.

Fluids charge? as in Tranny fluid right?

What is the "light weight option" for Spec 2/3? TTR?

Welcome to my world, new Ky clutch six puck with kevlar ceramic pads and no more slippage with driveability. GM 88862472 is the fluid you will need at about $20 a qt.

Red Line MT-85 is a good alternative to the GM fluid (Castrol Syntrans 75w-85) GL-4.

13.49 a qt. is a better price, too bad the closest place to me that sells it is 23 miles away.
Online with shipping is right around 20 bucks.
I got a decent price on install as well, too bad I think my rear main seal is leaking now.

I think I got mine from Jeg's last fall a bit cheaper on the shipping.

Is your fluid leak clear or motor oil? Reason I ask cause when I had mine done, they slopped enough fluid inside the clutch housing it seeped for a week. I thought I had a fluid leak but it cleared up.

If we carry the same item, we do look into price matching if requested.

I think its time to pay off the old credit card again and make some new purchases, lol. I was thinking wheels and tires but'd rather get the car functioning.

Sounds like spec 3 is safe enough for me? Torque rating?

Is the zzp clutch rod recommended?

Why not just go back to the stock clutch?

We have the install down to a science and can easily do them, so we just charge a flat fee now for them.

He's at 328 tq. That's about stock rating, right?
