Best downpipe

Hey, I want to buy a high flow downpipe but I don't wanna throw a code and I don't wanna tune out my rear O2 sensor. So I'm wondering what is the best option for a downpipe that won't throw codes that bolts up to my stock exhaust. I live in Florida so smog check isn't a thing here lol.

I have a ZZP catted 3" that I would let go. Just swapped it for a catless last week. Never threw any codes the whole time I ran it.

Are you talking about the angled O2 bung? I have one at my house never used. Was gonna put it on my last cobalt but I didn't. So if I have any problems I could always put it on there.

Yeah I checked it out. It's really nice but I might just get a catted zzp because of my warranty with GM and because of $$$

I just paid $130 shipped for the used ZZP catless so I'll sell mine for the same price. I want to say its a 200cell. Has the j spacer welded on it from ZZP.

Not a huge difference to be honest, little more poping and gurgling on decel which is nice. I have it on stock cat back. No drone, quiet until you get on it.

Thanks for the Info, wonder how much catless verses 200 cell changes flow.

Catted 200 or 400 or cattless sound changes gains are not leaps and bounds mabe like 5hp I think I read areally long time ago. Mabe Not even that much lol my 400 cell sounds nice with a FL exhaust easy to manage the noise but sound means at 3k+. Idk if a 200 cell sound much louder unless smog laws are a issue do want u want. None are legal in CA tho😉

So catless angled O2 won't throw code? What about GM warranty. Will it void?

What's best about catless is the quicker spool. I was using a Hahn downpipe for a while and even on an otherwise stock car, it made a noticeable difference. Better low end power. The rear O2 spacer kept the CEL off, but it wouldn't pass OBD inspection because the rear sensor wouldn't get in a ready state. I put the cats back on and left them on this last inspection because it's my daily driver and I pull away from a lot of V8s even with the cats on.

If you tune the rear 02 out it will never set the o2/heater monitors. All my monitors are set and car passes OBD inspection with either down pipe. Both have J spacers

I really didn't notice much difference between the 200 cell and catless. Spool times seem about the same. The catless might be a tad louder for obvious reasons.

Are we talking about SS/TC here? Just turn off the code for it.
