P0300 p0304 p2261
P0300 p0304 p2261
Ok. Got my first CEL today.
P0300, P0304, P2261.
Car seem to run fine, even when I was WOT in 4th, then shifted to 5th and light came on.
Car does seem to stutter sometimes in low gears, but usually when I turn competition mode on the problem seems to go away, so I figured it was the traction control. From what I understand I need to check the spring on the bypass valve? Passenger side of turbo? Everything sounds fine (bark no flutter).
I was driving pretty hard yesterday no problems. Today I just got on it the one time and got the codes on my way to work. Heading home I got on it a few times no issues, but just from a start, no high gear high speed stuff. I will drive it again tomorrow to see how it runs.
Also, I have not noticed any loss in boost, or idle issues. Cars seems to be running great, just got that CEL on my mind.
Everything is stock, except for IC pipes and CAI.
I just want to make sure I am on the right track.

Did you happen to go WOT on it before the coolant and oil was warmed up? Coolant Temps need to be around a minimum of 160* before you go WOT or else your CAM tables will still be on the "Cold" settings and those are in no way optimized for performance and will cause misfires.
Also it may not hurt to replace the vacuum hose to the Bypass Valve and check the vacuum tank for a leak or crack.

Thanks for the response!
I make sure I'm good and warmed up before I open it up. I drove it under 55 to the highway for about 15 minutes, and had been on the highway 78mph about another 15 minutes before I floored it in 4th gear.
I still need to check the hose and tank.

I'm having the same issue but my CEL flashes then cuts off when I let off the throttle. Yesterday it was code p0302/p2261 now today it's P0300/p0301/p2261. It idles normally but when driven backfires. I checked plugs, and switched out coils and still the same issue.
I am not a certified mechanic, but it sounds like dirty intake valves based on what I have read. I bought some Seafoam, but haven't put it in yet, I was going to put it in the oil and gas first and see if it helps, but luckily I haven't had any more problems the last couple times I drove it. I drive it a couple times a week, but usually "get my fix" when I do. I usually keep the RPM's under 6k... it it only happening when you let off at higher RPM?

Well I had a 50/50 diverter valve on there and I think it went into limp mode; I took it off and put the stock bypass valve back on and it isn't throwing codes anymore but when I accelerate I have to do it easily because it'll stutter and at higher rpms it'll backfire until you let off the gas and accelerate easily again.
