I have MPX's with a 3" Magnaflow. It sounds good but isn't ridiculously loud like when I had no muffler.

I am in the same boat, looking to go with an aftermarket exhaust finally. I was leaning towards a ZZP hi-flo catted DP (looking to avoid CEL and inspection problems in NY) and either ZZP catback or MPx Catback. Anyone have either of these combinations, any thoughts?

Thanks

Factory exhaust is pretty free flowing so I hope you don't think it's going to net you much hp. I have a full mpx cat back and love it.

it does, and you must find a longer rubber insulator for the muffler or it WILL touch the bumper and burn it. pretty easy fix though

Honestly, I just did a muffler delete and welded a pipe in. I've gotten a ton of comments on how good it sounds. Cost me $40. Is there a law that says you need to have a muffler or something?

that would depend on were you are, some places will have decibel level limits but they are always different shades of grey. look up the local laws in your county/state

Quiet exhaust, loud turbo/supercharger. Done. Tired of the days of 4cyl exhaust sounds. Attracts all the wrong attention as well. Change the header or DP of course, for the gains.

You will never get a proper impression over video's. Need to hear it in person.

I run a catless Hahn dp with the full Hahn exhaust and it sounds great not very loud until you get on it but easily livable for DDing and it can be heard when romped on
