I know I'm not retarded I was just backing Borla because even on a N/A it sounds good. Of course it would sound even better with a turbo but I don't have a turbo so I was just showin how it sounds N/A which in my opinion sounds really good for N/A.

Sounds great Rybread.....I see you are in jersey. Just curious, did you install exhaust yourself or did you have a shop do it? I called my local performance shop and I almost fell outta my chair when they told me they wanted $500 to install a downpipe, did you use a shop to install and if so which one?
Thanks

+1 For MPx.

ZZP Catless downpipe and MPx Catback with muffler. This setup is moderately loud and definitely doesn't need a muffler or resonator delete. I initially thought it was too loud when I first installed it but I grew used to it now I think it's the perfect volume!

I've heard TurboXS's exhaust in person too, which also sounds quite good- but quite quiet. Though I still wouldn't personally opt for the FL or the RFL.

I was running a catless dp with 3" MPX with no muffler for a while, it was stupid loud and sounded like crap while in boost. I added a 3" Magnaflow and it sounds great now. Get the muffler if you go MPX.

500?!

Lmao wow. Never go to that shop again.

It's 7 bolts and the oxygen sensor. Not hard. Can't believe 500 for the removal of 7 bolts and an oxygen sensor lol.

To put a new catback tho you need to cut the stock one so if you dont have the tools then you might need a shop to do it

They must have misunderstood you or something for that price.. Like others recently said, yes you have to cut the stock one unless you drop the rear suspension which I know you aren't doing, but that is easily done for less than 500 with a saw you can buy and a little elbow grease

The 500 wasn't even including the catback, just the downpipe which is why I literaally almost fell out of my chair when he told me the price....I could maybe understand 500 to do both even though there is no way Id pay that much either. Unreal

They must be getting no business. $100 TOPS from a muffler shop. If you asked a dealership it wouldn't be over $120 after taxes. **** I'm talking CAD prices too.

Thanks, I work at a performance shop down in Millville. TKAutosports - off of South Wade Boulevard. It's super easy to work with, and yes, RIP stock exhaust as you'll need to cut it to drop it.

It only bolts to the downpipe and unless you want to lower possibly drop the rear beam it needs to be cut to get it out.

Yeah the exhaust curves on top of the beam so unless you drop the whole rear suspension no way of taking it off. If you didnt have to cut it it would probably be a 30-40 min job with out a lift. I think i paid 70$ to have it cut and installed i was going to only have them cut it but didn't wanna drive back with just the downpipe on so they installed it

Yeah you have to cut it unless you want to take the whole rear end apart. I hacked mine off pretty good.
