the best two performance upgrades????
again, it depends on dyno and air inlet temps and density. do it in the winter with a huge blower in front of fmic and a garage that is cold and there's ur 250 whp i've spent alot of time with cars being dynoed and all the variables. a stock STI puts down about 240 on a dyno dynamics and there is no way a stock ss/tc is pulling on a stock sti
well he did
it was a video post and we all seen it....
the only advantage i could see he was downwind
ill find it and post it again here in a few
ive hear 13.8s but they were all saying they found someone who could really drive the car
here it is
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=30UxICiLlss
and its actuaLLY quite funny cause his gets it handed to him from a super fast vette
and the announcer seems surprised at the 13.6 time
same build here bud
rpd and lsd no sunroof or spare
how do you like that rpd
is fkn awsome or what
STI smackdown

they both could be stock but 13.02 is damn fast for a stock car
13.56 seeeeeeems fast as hell too
any day from a roll that STI is going down
its hard to wait i bet....
i factory ordered mine with it in
car should be here soon so i cannot tease.....lol
but apparently you can process 0-60 times 60ft time and 1/4 times on it
nice to learn how to launch this bad boy

Your also forgetting that an STi is AWD and they have far greater drivetrain loss than FWD cars. Some guys off www.iwsti.com say an STi gets as much as 25-30% drivetrain loss.
this is y i believe.......
sti no chance in a roll
better launch i bet though
hey does anyone know if you have have to activate the 'no lift shift' like how you have to activate the 'launch control'. i'm assuming no lift shift is just built in and can be used whenever you want without pressing any buttons. is this correct?
Correct... any mode. The ability/computer algorithm automatically activates when you've got the gas buried all the way and get up around 5900-6000+ RPM or so.
so you have to have it floored and st around redline for it to automatically kick in? what if i have the pedal down 3/4 and shift at 5500, guess it wouldn't work? would it bust or something? sorry never tried it
no it actually turns off the traction control and i've heard via the rumor mill it also "loosens up" the esc control limits. I've had the dic start flashing "esc" at me plenty of times. Sometimes because of snow many times delberately
ok, well next time i do a 1st-3rd gear all out launch, i'll first put it in comp mode, but you know what, i don't think i'm doing launch control, its just too serious, i think no lift is enuff for me i almost forgot how long our gears are, 2nd gear goes to 69 and third goes to 103!!?? wow, insane

NLS is designed whereas other cars aren't. Simply meaning when NLS is engaged; you aren't harming your clutch by riding it when you hold the gas and clutch in at the same time and shift, as opposed to the opposite when it isn't engaged like I used to do in my Mustang .... get where I'm going with it.
can't really make sense out of that???
I ts computer controlled to accelerate while clutch engaged...
its sweet, other technology im sure they use in some cars today is the double clutch
does the same thing overall. But im not sure on the techinics of that
