Big turbo dd!!
Nice! I mean I've heard from other forums it shouldn't make too much of a difference with the twin scroll vs single. Then again it's not an LNF so it maybe a little different. I'm sure with fine tuning there shouldn't be too much of a problem.
Sadly, I think the 6758 is a 450hp turbo... it's pretty damn small to be considered a "big" turbo.

it will make more then 450whp maybe.... should make 500 crankhp with a good tune and proper supporting mods no questions asked.
none of the turbos that people have put on any of these cars are "big" except probablly ryan at zzps.
I wouldn't mind having a DD 5558 like Chicken up there. That would be sweet. Especially billet wheel ball bearing.
Terry that excaped me at that time which is why i didnt respond afterwards......
hey ch1cken been awhile. i didnt go with that company u directed me to but i ended up with a PTE turbo anyway..

yeah im not sure what he had... i consider a big turbo big when it flows 800+ hp.
Buy mine then as I am going bigger soon. Thinking about repping cobalts at tx2k13. Considering a build thread but nothing is set in stone yet. There was a reason behind my post about boost controllers though.
The argument about "big" turbos is really moot. Big is really a relative term. Anything bigger than a gt28 is a big turbo on 2l engine.. a 6262 is really big on a 4 banger, but is pretty small on a v8.
Why bother with a dual stage boost controller, if you monkied with it enough, couldnt you use the stock bcs?

to me if your going for serious power you should have a serious setup... pick up an ams1000... best boost controller money can by. anyone making big power in the drag race world normally uses one as nothing else to me comes close. i had one in the camaro. will be swapping out to the ams2000 when its back together.
would it be to much to switch between boost levels that was the reason i wanted a dual stage as well.
$950 for a boost controller..........**** u must be out ur rabbit ass mind!! lol

ams is the best unit out period.... its expensive but for a serious hp car you should have the right stuff no questions asked. any of the turbo outlaw 10.5 cars all run the ams system. ive seen some other system that was pretty decent but i cant remember the name of it. buddy of mine runs it on his 1200hp supra.
Cmiller ran 10's on the 5857 and i dont believe he is running that im not arguing the standards and product i read few articles on it its a bad ass turbo. My build is serious for me but im only looking for 540whp i dnt think $950 on just the boos controller is the best option, I mean in my case not tryin to defer anyone from it though its a bad ass system but damn a G for it......
and for that kind of power its probablly not worth it as you can get away with a manual or something cheaper... but like ive said, i dont consider 550hp a lot of power. for a front driver its pointless without a completely proper setup. but for a road coarse or street car i just dont justify that. i mean 442whp on the mustang dyno was more then enough to break the tires loose but then again i wasent setup for drag racing. to each is their own though. the guys im talking about that run that boost controller ahve all had cars that surpase 950whp and run single digits under 8.50
didnt wanna put this in the stance thread as i didnt feel like bashing their product in their own thread... kw coilovers are the best of the coilovers for now....although if your looking for some extremely nice coilovers and have quite the budget give anze or ohlins a call. springs powells yyz springs or pedders are the only options. ive had premature failure with the pedders and im never buying a single thing from then again regardless if they warrenty them or not. because the damage was more then a collapsed spring. good for street and good for track use without sacrificing the ride of coilovers.

I still think they handle way better than stock though. I believe they are a must to add traction easily. Corner balance, crank dampeners all the way up in the rear, and all the way down in the front then roll with it. I'd honestly like to try some bwoody traction bars though. Should help keep the CABs from flexing much under a load.
Don't think they handle better then stock at all. They r too soft anthem rear. Even with the dampening adjusted and a corner balance they still were sub par at best. From a drag race stand point I could see them being worth while but not for road course use
So I'm really thinkin about this now the t 60 garrett turbo and synapse bov and external waste gate all custom piping and guess a adapter for the stock manifold just trying to do this cheap since my turbo is done
