itl never dry up. youl always have someone broke looking for an upgrade.

itl be like how theres always some nsrt4 owners who order a super stocker turbo instead of a 50 trim.

I think you and I are on the same path on how we mod our SS? My goal however would be just running pump gas on the S256 and with a built engine fully catted, I may be able to reach 450whp and a little more I hope. Well see.
You will not regret getting the S256. And with the light weight Fidanza FW, the rpm has no problem getting up the read line. I am just waiting for spring to come so I can go play in my SS/S256 again.

Awesome! Thats the Lightweight FW I have. Can't wait to get it tuned in then!

Edit: I thought you had the s256 then after reading it I realized you didn't, lol. Regardless I can't wait to get the kit installed.

this is very interesting to me... depending on how the bnr likes the boost being turned up on my car.. I'm glad to see theres another lower cost upgrade.. I don't want to have keep swapping components so this would make for an easy ish installation

also again ... that + batmowheel might be interesting.. help the spool (since this is an older turbo it'll probably help it a good amount)

then again.. 450 whp i feel is probably not too far away from what the bnr should pump out on e85 at high boost as well

i saw Hahns 20G yesterday also, and even though the 20G turbo is an older turbo it is a cheap direct bolt on turbo that can produce over 400whp just on pump gas.... on like 24psi they got 420whp out of it. for $1200 its really not bad and if there is a batmowheel for it even better. this turbo has me thinking for low cost right now and i can make the power i want without maxing out the turbo

The Hahn 20G is very tempting. I liked the idea of a recirculating system like what ZZP's EFR will offer.... but converting to a VTA BOV might not be too bad either.

Decisions decisions

No, it's later. No ball-bearing and larger wheel.

BUT THAT TREADSTONE STAGE 4.....mmmmm tempting to blow tax money on that VERY TEMPTED.

every video i have seen of those 5557s seems very laggy

cmiller's 5857 seemed to spool just as fast. Maybe it's the cams he has.

seems kinda slow spool but if your goin for sleeper look thats gud lets you stay out of boost while driving and rape on highway (which is my goal) is it full boost at 3,500 or estimated spool time?

mixed emotions. i'm looking for the 400hp range. the hahn s20g looks real tempting but everybody says its old tech and isn't that great. Then you got BNR and people are saying you wont make 400hp unless you push the turbo to its limits or go e85. I like the zzp s252 kit but its going to run me more money then i want to spend.

well SSyellow said a friend had one in a SRT4 n it raped i guess the decidng factor is if there is a batowheel for it, but im looking for a highway monster and street sleeper so if it spools at 3k i can stay out of boost for street driving n rape at dragstrip n highway!!!. BUT idk wut the maxhp support of the hahn is goin to look. i like the sound of 400+whp without e85 though!

i was just reading through some old post and i saw a thread that byt posted saying that the s20g he tuned had surge issues. It be easier if there was more bolt on applications.
