wuts goin on guys

i jus got off the phone with some place called J&R near Toronto, they re-program ECU's
be for i got off the phone the guy told me jus to get an electronic boost controller

i went to the local dealer for parts around here and im lookin at gettin the new electronic boost controller from HKS

now im new to this, its supper hard to get a tune around here, would this do about the same thing

and if anyone has this installed can i get some feed back on boost levels and such

aslo im open to other options so if anyone has n-e im all ears

No it wont do anything. The ECU has a learn down feature that will limit boost anyway.

My first bit of advice would be to stay away from that shop, because they are clearly unfamiliar with the car. Second, check your local regional section and search for a tuner.

There are other options for tuning if you can't find a local tuner but I would use a great deal of effort to find someone local experienced with the LNF and HPtuners.

Tune: either a custom tune, or Trifecta tune, or even a handheld tuner (Hahn PPC).

thats kinda wut i thought i need to kno how to get a good tune here in my area there are a few guys with the SS / TC but im not gonna lie there mad retarded,

any info on where and how i can buy a tune and wut the tune is ( ie. hand held, or new ECU )

 

Also you already have an EBC built in.... (The way the ECM controls boost.)
