boost gauge readings

So at idle my vac is at -18, which I find normal. But when driving and I let off the pedal it drops to -22 inHG. This is only sometimes. Is this normal because I thought it should be at -20. Vacuum leak maybe?

If you had a vacuum leak you wouldnt have more vacuum. Unless you were trying to say it the other way around

-18 at idle is good.

it will always drop lower when in the higher RPMS and you close the throttle.

Since vaccum is read in the negative, if you had a leak it would be a higher value (aka closer to 0)

Ya when u let off the gas it would fall to -20 somewhere, ur engine goes from being in a close to boost state to going into a more vacuum state when u release the gas. It's normal.

Im about to buy hp tuners. Which one do I buy? Suite or pro? I am tuned already but done by the previous owner. Its not trifecta because I already contacted Vince. Just ready to mod more and get a fresh tune.

LNF have a wideband built in so you would only need the standard. You can get it from ZZP for 499 shipped. That is like the going price everywhere so mays well buy from a cobalt supporter.

If you want a remote tune why does it matter if they are in your area?

I understand the process but at the same time would still like it to be kind of local

Thanks I will keep that in mind but wouldn't it be better for me to buy my own if I plan on continuous mods and tune updates?
