Boost issue

So a few weeks ago I noticed a boost leak, replaced upper charge pipe, couplers, and BPV. I wasn't too worried about checking the parts first I figured it was time for an upgrade anyways. Well after replacing those things it's still doing it. Sometimes it leaks sometimes it works perfectly fine. Next thing I'm looking at is the vacuum lines that run from the BPV to whatever solenoid that is, and the solenoid itself. I can't seem to find the parts anywhere. Maybe I'm searching the wrong words or something. Any help is appreciated.

Build a boost leak tester.

Could have a bad vacuum tank.

I saw people saying they bypassed the vacuum tank all together... Has this caused any issues? I just wanted to see if that was the problem by trying it and seeing if it fixes the issue.

After reading some more, I saw people talking about the wastegate.. I'm sorry for the ignorance I'm not very knowledgable when it comes to turbos. Could somethjng be wrong with it causing intermittent boost leak or very low boost? I'm just trying to see all the options and what to check

Well I'm waiting on the BPV solenoid to come in, but today something new happened. I got on it a little bit to see if I could hear the sound better, well it boosted to like 29psi, 23-24 is normal, so I let off immediately and then it sounded like a flutter. And idea what could cause it to boost so high?

Why would u replace pArts without boost leak testing first? It could be as simple as a tbolt clamp not being tight enough or at an angle. Get a boost leak tester and test it right.

Bpv solenoid fixed the issue. I replaced the parts without checking because I wanted to upgrade them anyways.
