I cant seem to find the boost leak and i cant get it on our lift right now to look from under neath, what happened was i came out of first gear to like 4500 pushed in the clutch and you heard a psh just like when the charge piping popped off. Took it home checked all connections, and clamps, there fine and tight, i looked at the bottom of the end tanks in the intercooler and there fine, i can drive normal, but once you go into boost you get a loud hiss of the leaking coming out, but idling its completely normal, any suggestions until i can get it on the lift?

 

Check the hose going into the bottom of the intake manifold That one is a pain to get on and hard to get at not a lot of room you will most likely need a flashlight to see it well. That clamp is a worm gear drive and I have seen them fail.

 

You popped the coldside IC endtank. Feel between the bumper and the face of coldside endtank. You should feel a hole or a crack.

 

Yeah you should take off your bumper. Im pretty sure you cracked your ic somewhere on the plastic endtanks.

 

So what was it? hope wasn't you're intercooler end tanks.
