Yoooo em yeah this is a reatrded question cant belive im even asking this... If I have a boost leak will up show up on my boost gauge ? I mean in terms of psi/kpa ? my car feels slower for some stranger reason..

 

not always.. can you hear a hissing sound on boost ? Was it hot out? That kills my performance..

 

its pretty consistant.. and hmm i dnt think i hear a hissing noise ill check tmrw tho

 

Its prob fine.. My car is slow as hell during the hot day and fast at night. Spark plugs can't hurt I changed mine at 12k

 

You can research the interwebz for how to build a Home Depot boost leak tester, if you have access to an air compressor. They're hard to find without a test, even if they're fairly big. Are you losing a lot of boost, or just a couple of pounds. Hot weather can cause you to lose some power, especially if it's hot and humid.

 

How is your idle, if you have a bad enough boost leak it will cause a rough idle. If your idle is fine but your still concerned, like has been said either make or a buy a boost leak tester and check.
