Thanks everyone for your help. There is a lot to go over here. I am going to have to do some research before I start yanking things off the car and cleaning them. I just dont know where everything is yet. I DID attempt to take the valve off yeserday, but I couldnt get a wratchet in to loosen the back bolt on the valve. So I just buttoned it back up and decided to wait.
Vince is looking at my data logs and is going to let me know what he finds.

Thanks again guys.

Okay, maybe I am partially retarded, but I can not figure out how to change this damn BPV. Its tight in there, but I think I can deal with the farther two bolts. I have having a **** load of trouble with the one closest to the front of the car. I can get a 10mm socket on it, but the space is to tight to get a wratchet on there. There is a metal line and bracket blocking me, and the space is too small to get a wrench on it. So, and suggestions? I know this is supposed to be easy, but I am just dumb.

You have any swivels? What about one of the mini ratchets?

What do you mean when there is a gunfire noise when the boost spikes?
What causes such a gunfire noise?

What do you mean go in from the back? I only ask because there seems to be only one way to get at it. If I stand on the passenger side of the car, and lean in behind the intake tube, I can see two bolts and feel the back one I am pretty sure I can use a 10 mm open ended to slowly get the back bolt, but just have nothing that will get that front one. The open ended wont turn it. Just due to lack of space.
Yu recommend a mini ratchet?
I can try one of those, but I will need to buy one. Is there a how to on here that you guys know about? I tried searching for one, but came up with nothing.

I was trying to avoid that. Just do to the limited amount of time I have had lately.
I caught a break yesterday though and was able to have not only an hour of good daylight to work with, but it was 65 degrees out. I am actually glad I took the intake off, because as it turns out it wasnt completely tightened up. It always had the slightest amount of play in it.
But, I took out the Forge valve, which, the hole was facing the front of the car, not down. Could that have been causing my over boost problems?

I put in the stocker, got everything fastened up and presto! Absolutely no more overboosting. I turned on the Trifecta tune, and was able to keep it floored without worry.
Oh, and holy effing rocket batman.

So either the Forge valve that came on the car was defective, or the hole being sideways was the issue. Either way, its better now. I am going to leave it stock for the time being so I can get back in the Generals good graces. Thanks for everyones help on this! Escpecially RKRamos for the hook up on the stock valve.
Dude offered me the part at a reasonable price, and had it shipped same day. Thanks man!

It shouldn't. In theory, your wastegate is wholly responsible for boost control, and the BPV/BOV has nothing to do with it.

If the BPV/BOV were not installed correctly, you would probably have weird issues when letting off the throttle a bit when cruising, or when letting off after getting on it. You would've had some turbo flutter happening, turbo response would suck in between shifts, and the car would probably buck sometimes.

Maybe a person more knowledgable can chime in here. Perhaps the LNF uses the BPV to help supplement boost control in addition to the wastegate in this case.

Good to hear you have it running, chip! Just leave the stock BPV in. The Forge is a waste of money. It's pretty and all, but it requires maintenance.
