I was confused about that as well, but I don't know enough about other other turbos to know if it would work or not...

Why did you not replace your turbo with one of units that we know work on our cars?

If he bought the adapter flange it should work. Unless its got the correct k04 flange. I am still using the lnf stock turbo mani with a adapter plate to fit a t3 flange... It kinda sucks but I'm waiting for treadstones turbo mani.. yep.

Etnies, I feel bad for you, man. I know how frustrating cars can be, sometimes. You just need to walk away from it for a while and cool down. Trading it won't even be an option at this point with a leaking turbo, so drink a couple of cold brews and attack it again tomorrow. Feel free to post pics and stuff so we can try to help you. If you get truly desparate, I can send you my spare turbo to try out. If it ends of working for you, we can work out some kind of payment.

Damn, I don't know how much is our turbo new, but I would never buy for my car a turbo that was meant to be on a different car. Btw, I have a GM k04 with manifold for sale if you're interested.

Yea for sure! If only more people would help out like that if they could. Good **** dude!

All jokes aside... OP what are you thinking would be going on? It's a turbo off another vehicle. You have to know that the turbo won't be a direct bolt on... Maybe the problem isn't in your work, maybe its the turbo... Have you taken it out to inspect the seals and such? Made sure you have the lines connected properly? As another guy said, take a step back, maybe pop the turbo back off and start all over, maybe you missed something the first time you will get the second time.
