BOV delete plate
Can someone explain to me what this is and what does it do. I am guessing it replaces the back plate on the bypass valuve.

It eliminate the factory BPV so you can run an atmospheric or recirculating BOV on the intercooler piping.
oh and by the way here they are for only $30

ummm no you need a BOV on the intercooler piping for this to work. Otherwise to you are going to take your BPV away. You need intercooler piping with a BOV flange and then buy a BOV valve. Use the block off plate then take the vacuum hose from the BPV and put it on the new BOV

if your staying on stock turbo you wont want a vent to atmosphere BOV... Youll lose unaccounted for air thats supposed to make its way back to the sensors, car may bog after shifts, I had a BOV on my wrx for a half hour before it went on ebay/forums.
If your going aftermarket turbo, and or different e-management thats a whole different story

"Running fine" leaves a lot to interpretation. Sure you can make it work, but it's certainly not optimum. You will have an over-rich condition when the BOV releases air that has already been metered by the MAF sensor.
