BOV Vacuum line disconnect? Can i relocate it?

So I installed the Dejon Powerhouse spring upgrade, and when i put it all back together i forgot to put the Vacuum hose back on. Took it for a spin and it sounded amazing. CEL came on and i realized my mistake. My ?question? is, is there a way to relocate this vacuum line so i dont throw a CEL or will it kill my BOV and turbo by not having it on?? Thanks and please dont flame, im just starting to gain knowledge on turbos

i did put it back, however the sound that it produced was the sound of an aftermarket BOV. I liked the sound (don't flame) however i do not know if it will hurt anything.

It is most likely surging and it is not good for the long term of your engine/turbo.

Yes you need that hooked up at all times, unless you put a delete plate and use an external BOV.

okay, i was just making sure. I like the sound of a BOV even though there are no measurable performance gains, just thought id ask people who are more familiar with the functionality of turbos. Do you know if HAHN will be developing the Intercooler piping with a BOV flange??

it will be very similar to the one on the Solstice (recirc) http://turbosystem.com/New_Folder/So...BOVUpgrade.htm

Yes it sounds like Hahn will be supporting this, just like the solstice/sky's...

However it will be the best of both worlds, external, and recirculates

PS another reason to get the Hahn intake and Hahn charge tubes, as you will need those (most likley) to support this setup.
